Oasis Brislington students visit Assembly Bristol

Fourteen construction students from Oasis Brislington’s Year 10 visited Assembly Bristol earlier this week. Senior Site Manager Sam Grimbaldeston and Senior Project Manager Sean Finch gave a presentation on the construction of Assembly Building A to the students, going into project specifics including value, design and H&S matters.

Following the presentation, there was a brief induction so the students were aware of health & safety issues to look out for ahead of the site tour. The students then donned PPE and were guided on site by Galliford Try staff for a tour of the project. Once the tour was finished, the team held a Q&A session so students could ask more questions about the construction logistics and costs.
